We will begin promptly at 9am discussing the recent progressions of Carolina Thunder (CT).  After about 30 mins, we will then begin full ensemble basics and will discuss technique in full detail.  Although CT is now an entertainment ensemble, the musical integrity and approach to the instruments are at a highest priority.  This will carry over until we break for lunch at Noon.  

Prior to lunch we will likely engage "Headlock," an 8-on-hand exercise that involves 4:3 patterns within 7/8 measures.

Upon returning from lunch we will either stay in full ensemble format or will break out into sectionals to begin refining technique, Headlock, and likely one other ensemble warm-up.  This of course is all tentative, but we wanted to communicate a relative timeline to all who plan to attend to ensure everyone the 2009 auditions will be action packed.
